Japanese Tea, from the Regions That Define It

Four teas, two of Japan's great tea regions. Uji has shaped Japanese green tea for eight centuries; Chiran, in the far south of Kagoshima, brings a rounder, sweeter character. Each leaf is sourced directly from the farms that grow it, and blended by Ohara Shunkoen, a Japanese tea house founded in 1875.

Not sure where to start? Steaming time is what separates these teas. A longer steam (fukamushi) gives you sweetness and body. A standard steam (futsumushi) keeps things crisp and clear.
